Re: Where is Joe?

What a beautiful place Guo Gu has made there, Fuki. Joe, Speaking of Guo - "it's all Gut" I have some Meido news too from a silly social platform; :D "A bit early to announce this, but good news: I've signed a contract with Shambhala Publications for my second book. The working title is "Hidden Zen...

Re: Calming the Mind

Someone else chime in. Can a person who is awake see the devils tower mountain postage stamp as a thing of beauty? To be a person is to be asleep, and no fictional character can ever awaken. Sure, whatever I look at is the very manifestation of Paradise, of all things good and beautiful. :hatsoff:

I am a Philatelist (philatelist), though a weak one. But, I like stamps, and what can be learned through them, and through our fraternity/sorority with others who are into collecting, too.
Not a word of Spanish posted there, Joe.

Speaking of dreams (the non-lounge thread) I dreamed I was pregnant last night, my wife was worried so send me to my birth house where two doctors were to take care of us, but midway in the dream I noticed they were "conspiracy doctors" and they were giving me stuff that would only lead to abortion,...

Re: Where is Joe?

Thanks Fuki, sounds about right , but I'm not sure what you mean by "change on thing completely." Are you saying that I should focus on renouncing one thing at a time? Or that I should acquire new habits, or otherwise change my life in some small way one at a time? Just do something different and s...

BTW, post-kensho Hakuin not only dreamt, he had an important “awakening” in one. In the Chinese records there are similar accounts by senior teachers. Yes, I mentioned this before and shared a transliteration from a friend from a Vajrayana teacher many times, with dreams/visions it also doesn't mea...
