this came my way, this morning....
Nothing is ever lost.
There has never been two of you;
you have always been this,
and always will be.

At some point, all parts of yourSelf
( including the perception of 'others' )
will cease to seem split or rejected;
everything returns to wholeness.

Everything is embraced,
not as a practice, or a 'doing'
but as an organic natural
unfolding of what is. ♥

Since there is no supreme ideal in zen what do we unify with?
There is a supreme ideal in zen, your true nature. That's what we unify with. :bow2:
Careful there. Are you turning "true nature" into a thing? Read Hakuin's Song of Zazen again.
I don't see any need for aversion to conventional speech. :namaste:

If you are seeking something that you do not know,
how will you know when you find it?

If you know what you are looking for
would there be a need to search?

In Buddhism there is no self, therefore no "we".

A child who seeks candy bars he knows what he wants,
but a seeker of the way is forever lost, why?

Where is the infinite future
and
where is the last few (thousand) years of development
of human nature

as human development is very fast,

Frankly speaking,
I don't think any single creature will be left unhappy in the future

So clumsy are words,
so misleading are thoughts,
so illusive are even the best koans,

Everything lost into itself

With each breath being all that i own
what else can i do but listen,
to the timeless song of the great blue mountain
and tend to the path of old.
