New Year's Eve and Day Events at Korinji

Please join us for our traditional New Year's eve and day events at Korinji, as we pass over into the new year in practice. You may join for either or both events (guests on New Year's eve are welcome to stay overnight with us...please bring a sleeping bag).

NEW YEAR'S EVE SCHEDULE
8:30pm -10:30pm: Meditation practice.
11:10pm: beginning of the traditional ringing of the bell 108 times.
12:01: Just after midnight, we conduct a short ceremony.
12:15: Celebrate! A traditional soba (noodle) dish will be served.

NEW YEAR'S DAY SCHEDULE
10am: Ceremony to mark the new year (be present by 9:45 please).
10:30am: A brief New Year's message from our abbot.
11:00am: Group informal brunch.

Thanks roshi. Unfortunately won't be able to make it, hanging with the family (mandala).
