I've been interested for some time in "The Luminists", in America, because I see something in their work which approximates one's vision in what I have called "sesshin-vision", but which can also be everyday-vision if one sits sufficient hours per day. Again, Maxfield Parrish has a few paintings that verge upon this vision, whether by accident or not, I don't know, as I don't know the artist's biography (a meditator? Dunno).
Also, long-time photographer here.

I like oil paint and am also fond of landscape painting (Plein air style on small canvas (white gesso)). You should post some of your paintings.
