The only thing i care is the practice.i think life is simple as that.

As mason said: Ordinary Mind is the Way!
which i understand
Mason is quoting Nansen from Mumonkan chapter 19.
thanks. All is a matter of frequency.
gentleness and frustration in different form of coctails is my present psychology

lol, just tonight.
i have a friend, works in a rock bar, and the work ends late, or early in the morning..
, work over, she went for a taxi,
but saw a big white dog,
going around,
approaching people,
nearly got run over by a car..
crazy.
so, instead of a taxi, she asked a colleague to drive her and the dog back to her house.
and, she sent me many pictures and videos.
its a white Siberian Samoyed,
a pup,
she later learned.
5 monts old, but bigger than her dog.
she has a black labrador.
luckily, over the net, they found the owner.
he picked up this wonderful dog this afternoon.

what is so strange here?
well, it turned out that the owner,
is a school friend of her daughter,
and said, we played often in the schoolyard.

lol, and they left chocolate and biscuits for my friend,
for finding and keeping their dog,
and contacting them.
Another log on the fire,
10,000 frogs singing in the rain,
burst into flames.

After Dan74's comment, this is the best thing in this thread.

Out walking Kaya away from houses, found a stray dog. Friendly enough to allow me to put a leash on (Kaya's). Just let her lead, and we wound up at the back door of a house. Went around front, and there was the frantic owner. Both (her and pet) so happy!

Sesshin with teisho by Barry Magid. You can skip to 5:50 to start. Let's see if understanding ordinary mind as described in this talk is a match. For some interested others, the topic of purification comes up.

Watch out! Lots of devils in the picture!

The only thing i care is the practice.i think life is simple as that.
really?
no wonder your position is often rightly questioned.
who are you fooling?
if it were so,
you would be a monk somewhere,
with only practice on your mind.
please stop embarrassing yourself,
its getting funny.
The only thing i care is the practice.
no other care in your life?
after so much practise?
well, ok, but i do not believe you.
funny bunny.

Ah! talking stories..
I've mine
5-6 months ago i'd went to my classical rock bar.
but i was finished and took a walk around
there one was playing guitar on the street
i was about to return to home
but stood there take a listen and met with him
that night we went to his flat
Actually, he was a homeless person
more than that he was a satanist.

Since that day we are in touch with him
Not the best but become my only friend
usualy i help him
you know money, shopping, food..etc

I go to see him when i feel more upset
and we drink some wine and alcohol
listen to music
he talk about girls & i make jokes
he has a dog(a siberian wolf), a cat and a rabbit

This thursday we'll meet again
I sometimes post some job adverts that i find
to him but he doesn't want to work

Still he plays guitar(on the street) and
try to earn his rental, bills, food and all.
This is strange
I'm trying to be a bodhisattva
but have a friend who is a friend of devil.

But i know what attract me to him
he has the personal character of my uncle
who has died some months ago.
he died and i find him

strange world,

and my uncle
with whom that i've private memories
was the one who loved me
most
out of my parents.
in this world.

I think we care very deeply; we must. But we also learn to let go very deeply, because all this too shall pass. The Path of the Bodhisattva is the perfection of compassion. That's the real irony, in a sense, we aren't prepared to embark on such a path, but here we are anyway. This is extremely humbling, but yes i feel we are to care deeply.

I am with "no dog" in this thread. Neither Mu dog nor Fu dog. Only No Dog.

Neither bird nor worm. Only catching and eating.
