Didn't watch the series until about 2 years ago, but was hooked once started and binge watched until finished- Watched it again during lockdown and picked up on stuff I missed first time around- Would gladly watch it again ..

It's been ages since I had a coke .. 😊

Now I want one ...hahaha
I might watch it during the very hot summer days in July/August when is a hell to be outside. Wow, 92 episodes, it will keep me busy for some time :)
binge watching, never heard, but done that to some degree if understood the idiom well, learned new word, thanks ;)

The classic, those with tastes or the diet one? :D
Classic .. in a glass bottle .. 😊
I think it's bottled in Mexico, the glass is imperfect and has kind of light swirls of rainbow colors ..

Once you get watching, you'll blow through all those episodes
pretty fast!

Maybe 😬
Here is bottled locally, in the city where I live :)

I will check it this weekend and get back to you for impressions 😊
😊

Enjoy!

"Drain the whole sea ..
get something shiny .."

"Take me to (turtle ..) church ..
I'll worship like a dog at the shrine of your lies
I'll tell you my sins and you can sharpen your knife
Offer me that deathless death
Good God, let me give you my life .."

1965. A long time ago. But a perennial theme, "You Were On My Mind"!

I remember this track blasting out of New York AM-radio stations on my two-transistor "Vornado" pocket radio, with the 9-volt battery inside. It was a radio small enough to bring to school in my pocket and keep it hidden.

What a track. What a success. What a hit!, for this group, the "We Five".

I had a girlfriend in school in those days, and, well, of course, "she was on my mind". This song was a perfect acknowledgment of the times.

You Were On My Mind

by: We Five

When I woke up this morning
You were on my mind
And you were on my mind

I got troubles, whoa-oh
I got worries, whoa-oh
I got wounds to bind

So I went to the corner
Just to ease my pains
Yeah, just to ease my pains

I got troubles, whoa-oh
I got worries, whoa-oh
I came home again

When I woke up this morning
You were on my mi-i-i-ind and
You were on my mind

I got troubles, whoa-oh
I got worries, whoa-oh
I got wounds to bind

And I got a feelin'!
Down in my sho-oo-oo-oes, said,
WAY down in my sho-oo-oes!

Yeah, I got to ramble, whoa-oh
I got to move on, whoa-oh
I got to walk away my blues

When I woke up this morning
You were on my mind
You were on my mind

I got troubles, whoa-oh
I got worries, whoa-oh
I got wounds to bind

The quite lovely classically-trained solid and competent flautist and teacher Heline reacts to a recorded rock-and-roll performance on flute by Ian Anderson, of Jethro Tull, from 1976.

We can all have a lot to learn, if we wish. Tull himself seems to have been self-taught, which is to say, he was not taught at all. And, Wow! And how.

Go, Aqualung! See you on that park bench.

As a parting caress on this topic, I proffer Tull's "Mother Goose", from 1971, track 4 on the LP.

Surely one of the great tracks of the 20th Century of any known planet.

('Beatles' got nuthin' on THIS, baby!)

Mother Goose

by: Jethro Tull

As I did walk by Hampstead Fair
I came upon Mother Goose
So I turned her loose
She was screaming

And a foreign student said to me
Was it really true there are elephants and lions too in Picadilly Circus?

Walked down by the bathing pond to try and catch some sun
Saw at least a hundred schoolgirls sobbing into handkerchiefs as one
I don't believe they knew I was a schoolboy

And a bearded lady said to me
If you start your raving, and your misbehaving
You'll be sorry

Then the chicken-fancier came to play
With his long red beard and his sister's weird, she drives a lorry

Laughed down by the putting green
I popped 'em in their holes
Four and twenty laborers were laboring
And digging up their gold
I don't believe they knew that I was Long John Silver

Saw Johnny Scarecrow make his rounds in his jet-black Mac'
Which he won't give back
Stole it from a snowman

As I did walk by Hampstead Fair
I came upon Mother Goose
So I turned her loose
But she was screaming

Walked down by the bathing pond to try and catch some sun
Must of been at least a hundred schoolgirls sobbing into handkerchiefs as one
I don't believe they knew I was a schoolboy

Here's a couple of fellows discussing Enlightenment (Awakening).

Prof. Robert Wright and Prof. Dale Wright. Two Wrights don't make a wrong!

This runs an hour, but it's good to dip in anywhere and hear a few minutes anywhere.

Aww-w, I know this is not the right place for this, but I've been away a while.

Yet, it could seem "musical" to those with an ear.
