Just a little suggestion for the title of the book. The Zen Master's Embodied Dance :D
:D
Dance, Lalla, with nothing on
but air: Sing, Lalla,
wearing the sky.

Look at this glowing day! What clothes
could be so beautiful, or
more sacred?

I actually have a ladyfriend (no not as in little britain) who strips down and joins me for a dance in the dunes at times...though I'm always in "zen-mode" when she does that, so there's no narrative of covered-uncovered then...I'll try to be in nonzense-mode next time

Reminds me of one of my all time favourite group conversations with a Roshi....

Roshi: What are you going to do now?

Me: Write

Roshi: Riot!?

Me: Write

Roshi: RIOT?!!

Me: No, write

Roshi: Oh
"show me the dead stars,
All of them sing."
This is a riot
Religious and clean
God is a number you cannot count to
You are post human and hardwired....

What's this I hear about "sound"? :D

This is Hope Sandoval (the vocalist, ex- of Mazzy Star) with her "Butterfly Mornings".

Butterfly Mornings

by: Hope Sandoval & the Warm Inventions

Butterfly mornings
Butterfly mornings
Catch me there
Gonna get me there
If I have to climb all the mountains on the moon
I'll be in butterfly mornings
Butterfly mornings
And wild flower afternoons

I found you in the corner
Down there sitting on the seat
Gonna trace your footsteps
Underneath the waves
On the petals of a wild flower
With the sun

I want walkin' in butterfly mornings
And wild flower afternoons
Butterfly mornings
Wild flower afternoons.

Had to take responsibility to post this again, as all other earlier incarnations of this "board" have been graced by this song in their earlier epochs of operation.

Let not new members here be deprived of knowing about it, and definitely knowing it, definitely. Did I mention definitely? But don't go deaf, speaking of definitely.

And, OK, yes, taking responsibility here, Voila, or whatever her name is, to wit, yes, this is it:

Can't You Hear Me Knocking

by: The Rolling Stones

Yeah, you got satin shoes
Yeah, you got plastic boots
Y'all got cocaine eyes
Yeah, you got speed-freak jive
Can't you hear me knockin' on your window
Can't you hear me knockin' on your door
Can't you hear me knockin' down your dirty street, yeah

Help me baby, ain't no stranger
Can you help me baby, ain't no stranger
Help me baby, ain't no stranger
Can't you hear me knockin', ah, are you safe asleep?

Can't you hear me knockin', yeah, down the gas light street, now
Can't you hear me knockin', yeah, throw me down the keys
Alright now
Hear me ringing big bell tolls
Hear me singing soft and low
I've been begging on my knees
I've been kickin', help me please
Hear me prowlin'
I'm gonna take you down
Hear me growlin'
Yeah, I've got flatted feet now, now, now, now
Hear me howlin'
And all, all around your street now
Hear me knockin'
And all, all around your town

'nother Stones song to be admired is, surely, let's say, ...oh, me, oh my: "Dead Flowers".

A fine song. Fine.

I myself no longer attend Funerals or Weddings, BTW, except my own.

Have a lissen!, pardner. Pardner... ?

Dead Flowers

by: The Rolling Stones

Well when you're sitting there in your silk upholstered chair
Talkin' to some rich folk that you know
Well I hope you won't see me in my ragged company
Well, you know I could never be alone

Take me down little Susie, take me down
I know you think you're the queen of the underground!
And you can send me dead flowers every morning
Send me dead flowers by the mail
Send me dead flowers to my wedding
And I won't forget to put roses on your grave

Well when you're sitting back in your rose-pink Cadillac
Making bets on Kentucky Derby Day
Ah, I'll be in my basement room with a needle and a spoon
And another girl to take my pain away

Take me down little Susie, take me down
I know you think you're the queen of the underground!
And you can send me dead flowers every morning
Send me dead flowers by the mail
Send me dead flowers to my wedding
And I won't forget to put roses on your grave

Take me down little Susie, take me down
I know you think you're the queen of the underground
And you can send me dead flowers every morning
Send me dead flowers by the U.S. Mail!
Say it with dead flowers in my wedding
And I won't forget to put roses on your grave
No, I won't forget to put roses ...on your grave.
