He does get his point across with the noise from the blender
Still reminds me of times waiting for that ice cold mixed drink
Sorry, get distracted easily these days

Thanks. Just read a review. Will order through inter-library loans and I will give it a read in the hedgerow shade of “my own” familiar fields.

The Lake Isle of Innisfree
BY WILLIAM BUTLER YEATS

I will arise and go now, and go to Innisfree,
And a small cabin build there, of clay and wattles made;
Nine bean-rows will I have there, a hive for the honey-bee,
And live alone in the bee-loud glade.

And I shall have some peace there, for peace comes dropping slow,
Dropping from the veils of the morning to where the cricket sings;
There midnight’s all a glimmer, and noon a purple glow,
And evening full of the linnet’s wings.

I will arise and go now, for always night and day
I hear lake water lapping with low sounds by the shore;
While I stand on the roadway, or on the pavements grey,
I hear it in the deep heart’s core.

Someone ducktape that blender!
No just kidding....all sounds have the same nature, even the 'internal' head clutter.

Avi, effing hell, that "short attention span" or "easily distracted" narrative is really getting old. Either that or you should get a better method acting instructor ;)

Yeah, the truth is often not what one wants but what one gets.
And it often gets irritating to others.

Speaking of the truth, it is the big elephant in the room of blind men
JundoCohen and Desertwoodworker talked briefly about what they encountered during awakening
Awakening is huge and all one sees is the small bits until it all comes together
And so it becomes more important to integrate awakening into daily life
Well, that was one of my distractions. One of the others was insurance to cover my father's rehab.
I can see how after six months of my mother's passing that my father began his health decline.
Then there is my own distraction of losing my memory.
Simple things. Walking into a room to do something and totally forgetting what to do

So, yeah, sorry, will find a better acting instructor :114:

Funny, used to have that a few times per day ever since I was a kid, I actually enjoy when that happens, always good for a laugh. Somehow it doesn't happen often the last years, or I forgot about that too! :lol:

For me it's mostly walking into the kitchen, though never coffee related.

Very nice thanks for sharing, was nice to have a recording from the Dutch Buddhist network (BOS) with subs, allowed me to hear the seagulls too :)

This is what I meant with "future" teachers in the other thread, great example.
