Well, Woodstock as a phenomenally important and influential concert venue occurrence is coming up to another anniversary this summer in August. Fifty years. Same as the stretch between now and then of the first Moon Landing (July, 1969).

Here's a fabulously great track by Country Joe and the Fish, there, during that weekend at Woodstock. They have other tracks, performed there (please see). This is a short one. And powerful.

"Ladies and Gentlemen, please welcome warmly, Country Joe and the Fish... ".

Times gone by, I tell ya... . ;)

Yet, everybody understands... .

Maybe you've heard him in this blockbuster track before. What a song!

My favorite Texan, Phil Ochs (sorry, other Texans).

Lyrics are worth looking up, if they're not clear enough here in Phil's delivery.

R.I.P., dear brother Phil (1940–1976). _/|\_

Well, you may have heard this, too.

It's Yellowman!, Albino Black man (artist) of Kingston, Jamaica.

See what guns have to do with it.
