As a guitarist, the song I Want You (She's So Heavy) is the fav. In the opening I combine lead and bass on fingerstyle acoustic. Lots of great little riffs, too.

For pop and folk, I like World Without Love and You've Got to Hide Your Love Away.

For rockers, Get Back or And Your Bird Can Sing.

Too hard to pick one favorite!

As you say, hard to choose. Was going to go for a Cosmic cliche like Let it Be or All You Need is Love. And then something started to drift up from my subconscious. It turned out to be And I Love Her. Beautiful in it's simplicity.

Although not very funny

Sort of a subdued Latin beat, very beautiful. Perhaps similar to Here, There and Everywhere, which I think I read was a band favorite.

I can't think of any good jokes here either. Maybe my song is a bookend to Nowhere Man?

So that's how Buddha did it

Meanwhile, down in the Quantum soup, I was just posting about this same subject (in a slightly more serious fashion :D ) this morning, on a Tibetan forum.

You're safe, to pose a baseball analogy.

I'm not from Louisville, but they make great "sluggers" there.

As you know, I make kyosakus. Not good for baseball. But some of my handles are lathe-turned.

I'm pretty white-haired lately. But my dad is 111 years old, and he hasn't got a single grey hair in his toupée!

My dad died with a full head of black, hmmm now I wonder how long it takes for hair to 'depart' from the skull after 'death' :hatsoff:

Marcel,

Thanks, yes; a(n) (attempt at) a pun relying on the sound of English words. ;)

In my country, some government employees are lately not being paid their salaries on time, and they are said to be "furloughed". Some are allowed and required to continue to work without pay, while others are not allowed to work, and are shut out of their workplaces entirely, and are even barred from working at home.

Such is the nature of a "furlough". It's like a forced-"vacation", without current pay.

I had a hunch it had something to do with the shutdown but couldn't make much coherent out of it,
thanks for the laugh and English lesson.

Oh wow, it's "a" Dutchy word, what a surprise :D

In the United States, a furlough (/ˈfɜːrloʊ/; from Dutch: verlof, "leave of absence")
