The master entered the hall and said, "This fact is like a clear jewel in your hand. If a barbarian comes, it reveals a barbarian. If a Chinese comes, it reveals a Chinese."

On the elevator (lift) control panel, zen is at some level below the basement. Even the basement has a foundation.

Zen Buddhism is related, and is something akin to a vehicle, or an elevator car. It goes mostly downward.

The elevator weighs seven pounds. It's not heavy enough to reach the bottom. Relativity speaking, it's the floors that change - the elevator is completely still.

Good question! Although, clever words and phrases, definitely not zen. :bow2:

It does stink, for sure. But when the people around you stink to high heaven (looking at you, Joe), you've got to give them a fart or two, so your stinks can mingle. Ew.

If the words are easy, no need for taking!

Dutchy elevators have a different reference then the US (or english "countries") ones,
1 is our 0 and our -1 is your zero
6 would be your 7

ps last year I had several nights in a row where I dreamt to be in an elevator which was free falling, whenever it hit the ground I woke up and entered my house, upon entering the house it seemed I was still dreaming because the moment I stepped in the front door I was back in the elevator, only change was that upon the 2,3,4,5 etc entree in the elevator there was never any ground to hit, this went on for nights and felt like aeons. A few nights ago I dreamt being trapped in a ghostnet and was drowning, though half through the dream I realized I was dreaming but couldn't wake up, took some deep effort to do so and noticed I was holding my breath while sleeping, these dreams be the "death" of me some day.
Though there's never any fear involved, beautiful and uncanny at the same time.

It's a wonderful teacher isn't it? (fear/anxiety/vexations)
any intellectual view on "emptiness" turns out to be nothing but ignorance then.
