For people missing Meido, in addition to Dharma Wheel, he often posts on the "Zen Dialogue" Facebook forum. And for people missing Jundo, apart from Treeleaf, he posts daily on the "Soto Zen Buddhism" Facebook forum.

Sorry for any upset caused by mention of Jundo :D
Jundo just started posting on Zen Dialogue, for the first time, three hours ago. Maybe he still lurks around these parts :D
Or just swims in the Quantum soup :D

Am I allowed to quote myself quoting myself? :D

His Tractatus is a book of numbered aphorisms, you know; or, each of his propositions is aphoristic. Remarkable.

A non-Philosopher friend of mine (a scientist) 35 years ago read my copy of the book on my suggestion, and commented that he could not be sure if the book was "profound, or if Wittgenstein is just pulling our leg".

"I won't say!" (koan Case 55; Blue Cliff Record). ;)

Joe, in four and a half hours I have an appointment with the chapter of my birth town (Haarlem) for an Anonymous for the Voiceless event,
https://www.anonymousforthevoiceless.org/
so I hope those eggs are methaporical
Coincidence: I lived in "White-Harlem" in New York for many years. That's our late American comedian George Carlin's name for his (my) neighborhood on the Upper West Side of Manhattan. Oh, and who SAID "No man is an island"?: What about MAN-hattan?

So... they're (were... ) real eggs. And now they are a part of my being. For about 7 years, they say.

More power to the Movement!: thanks for the URL.

But if "Total animal freedom" means that Pit-Bull pet dogs may roam about without a tether or leash, I may form an Opposition group.

Be careful what you wish for! :)

Kidding aside, I'm for ethical and compassionate treatment of all animals, and the plants and atmosphere that support them (and us).

Color me Green; but with red Hemoglobin. Greetings too from my Sanderson, Chauncey ("Angora"), Helva, and Charlie. We five.

Kiss the cats, there,

--Joe

Thanks for the empowering wishes Joe, ah yes harlem or nieuw haarlem 'originally' funny an USA guy once asked me why it was named Haarlem with two AA's and not Harlem, he actually thought we named the city after Harlem, NYC. So educated with history 'over there' (not generalizing, well not "all")

Hahaha actually that's what I 'warn' many others about (careful what you wish for) they don't understand the power and consequences of desire, but no desire, just natural.

ps if you're interested I'll post a video about the 'truth about eggs' in the video curiosity thread.
(a few months back "we" shot undercover footage in Dutch horror houses of so-called free range chickens, believe me it gets even worse then in the video but still a warning regarding shocking images and its standard in the industry not an exception)

Grazie! Kiss back, oh ps the cats had a present for me when I returned home today. :D

Even without the false mind and its habits, one can still do things like advanced Mathematics and all everyday things, but how different they are, especially at first!
That reminds me of one of my favourite poems;

What a difference! What a difference!
Raise the blind, and see the world!
If someone asks me to tell him what my religion is
I raise my hossu and strike his mouth.

I could do that with all of my old and current orange (muivertje) cat too, only fuki(fukasetsu) has the habit energy of "over-eating" herself.
